Carolina Harkort

Carolina Harkort was born in Wiesbaden, Germany in 1983. Between 2007 and 2010 she was a student at the School of Design in Mainz. During that time she started to shoot political, social and economic stories in Germany, Sweden and Africa. In 2011 she was a student at the Danish School of Media and Journalism. Carolina was selected as ‘Coupe de Coeur‘, at VISA POUR L‘IMAGE, Perpignan, France in September 2011 and was also selected to show her work at the Portfoliowalk 2011 at Deichtorhallen in Hamburg. At the moment Carolina is based in Hamburg and Istanbul from where she is working worldwide for assignments as a freelance photographer.
