Over the years I have worked on various projects, which have allowed me to consistently acquire new technical skills, and keep up to date with current marketing trends. Training as a graphic designer in my early 20’s I am proficient in the main design programs, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop & Fireworks, with experience in taking projects from ideas, to layout, print and application.

Originally from Surrey a change in my domestic situation when I was 19yrs involved a relocation to Bristol and the need to source a self-supporting income. Determined to work within the media industry, I went straight into B2B sales for a publishing house (Lawton Publishing), focussing on small businesses and entrepreneurs, my commitment found me, in a managerial role within six months. This role gave me the opportunity to work closely with the editor and design team, and I very quickly aspired to be a features editor for a publication. After some persistence, a publishing house (Journal Publishing) created a position for me as a features editor for a franchise magazine insert.

At 22yrs, I moved back to surrey and had my eldest daughter. When she was eight months old, I made the decision to go back to college, and study an HND in graphic design achieving Distinction. 2009 I had my second daughter , 2010 I progressed with my studies and completed a BSc (Hons) in Advertising and Design accredited by the University of Surrey graduating with a 2:1 in 2011.

With collectively 10 years sales experience, and 5 years in design and marketing I joined Conidia’s marketing department, in 2012. I hope to carry on creating memorable visual messages through all media and produce, functional pieces of work.
