Growing up in my mother's house in Dublin, there was always a sewing project going on. Whether it was a new outfit straight from the magazines or a design alteration to an existing piece, there was usually something in the works ! This is where I got my love of clothing and design. Following my education and apprenticeship, my career included stints in Dublin's famous Pat Crowley Atelier and the Abby and Gate Theatre's costume departments where the power and essence of a character was conveyed in what an actor wore. Whether it has being designing my own collection or selling it at the top salons, my love of a big frock has not waned ! While no longer designing I have directed my love of bridal to my Wedding Dresser business, providing impeccable service to Chicago's brides and grooms on the day of their wedding. I have complemented my service by adding Style Consultant for J.Hilburn to my resume, focusing my styling and designing talents on Chicago's grooms and busy men about town.
