I'm a southern gal, originally from Birmingham, Albama, but for six years Chicago is the city I've called home. An ordained presbyterian minister, I'm enthusiastic about churchy and spiritual stuff. A social worker in the field of mental health, I'm passionate about empowering people on the margins of society. Seven years ago I did this thing called "couch to 5K", and it led me to become a seasoned runner training for her third marathon.
