I graduated from college with a degree in Computer Science and a minor in Mathematics. I first went to work as a Software Quality Engineer. That job was not what I was looking for. From there, I went on to two different programming jobs. The first job said they were looking for a programmer, but they basically had all the software improvements they needed, they just didn't know about them. I ended up spending more time trouble shooting printers and the like than developing. From there, I went to Modulus Data Systems. I liked working there, but I was not sure if software development was where I wanted to be. The bottom of the dot com industry fell out, and I figured to let those who really wanted jobs to have my job while I went back to look into my other love, teaching. I got a teaching credential, but I have been flustered by what has been going on with the layoffs and teaching.
