Bungay, Suffolk, UK
Caroline is a professional violinist who performed with the celebrated Orchestra of the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden for over a decade.
She is passionate about taking classical music out of the concert hall and into the community. Throughout her musical career, she has devoted time and energy to education and outreach -- especially with children, the disabled and the disadvantaged.
Caroline trained with the UK's first-ever postgraduate programme dedicated to bringing the positive power of music to people living with dementia. She works with Wigmore Hall and Aldeburgh Music delivering music projects to people living with dementia, as well as their carers.
Caroline is available on a freelance basis for community music and educational projects throughout the east of England. In the Bungay area, she is also available to conduct one-on-one violin tuition for all ages and abilities -- from first-time lessons for complete novices, to masterclasses for young professionals.
