Hi, I'm Caroline! I'm from North Carolina and I'm a furnishings and interiors major. I love live music, spending time outdoors, and traveling.

I spent two weeks this past May traveling across Switzerland, Austria, and Italy with my friends. My favorite parts of the trip were definitely the hiking days. This photo is from our hike around Italy's Alpe di Siusi, the largest alpine meadow in Europe. I really enjoy hiking because I like to be outdoors, and I find its an easy way to combine exercise and quality time with my friends. In Italy we also hiked around a World War I open-air museum. It was a loop around the Cinque Torri rock formation where the Italians held their line against the Austro-Hungarians. As a bit of a history buff, I found the caves and trenches on the side of the mountain to be very interesting. It was fun to learn about the area we were visiting from a new perspective. I think the best part about traveling is experiencing how vastly different the world, our histories, and our cultures are.
