Hi! I am Caroline Gonzalez. I am starting a new journey and I’m becoming a blogger. I am obsessed with cooking and entertaining (well anything food related, really!) and I want to share my love for food with you.

My food obsession started when I was just a toddler. Since my mother was a young single mom, I spent lots of time with my grandparents while my mother was working. My grandfather was a world traveler, whose name should have been in the dictionary next to foodie. He made me try foods that were way out of my comfort zone and I LOVED IT! He created a toddler that had a taste for grown up food and this ultimately has brought me to share my love for food with the people I love.

I was born in Hamburg, Germany and moved to Tampa, Florida when I was 15 years old. I still live in the Tampa Bay area with my husband, Jose.

Even though I enjoy German cuisine, I don’t cook it as much as I would like. Starting this blog will bring me back to my roots and allow me to share some of my traditional German recipes with you.

Now, my hubby is from the Dominican Republic and has an amazing family with some amazing recipes, so my blog is NOT just about German food. I will be including recipes that are culturally diverse.
