Caroline Holt

Caroline is happiest when she's creating - or inspiring others to create and transform. She spent six years at Synectics (pioneers in how to structure creative thinking derived from the observation of creativity in action) before co-founding Happen, now a no. 1 innovation agency with clients and offices across the globe.

She has helped people from world-class organisations to innovate, to develop their creative thinking abilities, to create high-performing teams and to build leadership skills. Her clients have included household names such as the BBC, Cancer Research UK, Ernst & Young, HSBC, O2, Macmillan, Tesco and Unilever.

Caroline also has over ten years experience in senior marketing roles in sectors that include publishing, music, video and wine. During this time, she led many successful strategic brand initiatives, which resulted in new product launches and significant sales growth. She also spent five years in the advertising world where she led strategy and planning on key accounts plus three years in PR in the construction business.

Caroline has an Honours degree in Business & Management, is a Master Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and a passionate proponent of AQ™ (Attitudinal Intelligence). Her own creative interests include photography, theatre (both watching and performing) and playing the guitar badly. Huntley, her chocolate brown Labrador, helps her fulfil her love of the great outdoors on a daily basis. She is also a passionate Italophile and escapes to the mountains in north-west Tuscany for some 'dolce vita' whenever she can.
