Caroline Inglis
Small Business Owner in Dawlish, United Kingdom
Originally from Scotland I have spent most of my life in The South East of England.
Most of my life has been taken up by Charitable concerns and my involvement in them. From a young age, I have been a keen supporter of different charities and have been inspired by what a difference they can make in our World. Fired by a passion to help these amazing organizations, I gave my time as a Volunteer for some of the biggest Charitable organisations in the UK. This gave me a good knowledge of the workings of such organisations and the sheer time and effort which goes into everything they do, for the good of our World.
My experience of Volunteering, enabled me to become a member of staff and work as a paid employee for several Charitable organisations in the UK. I was a project Co-ordinator, creating events for the Charity across the South-East of England. This enabled the public to visit and to become aware of the work the charity did, this raised the Charities profile and generated much needed support. Through working in Campaigns, I am proud that I have been part of something that has stopped social injustice and protected some amazing species of animals. I have enjoyed raising the profile of such important Charitable organizations, through public talks, Radio, TV and Newspaper interviews. This has helped, I am sure to make a difference.
What makes miKind unique and innovative is how through technology, it can create a community around the World. A community that is there for each other. A community that can share ideas, experience, advice and knowledge. A community that can make significant change in this World. It is through community that we can make a difference!
