Caroline Khodadian is an Iranian Armenian dancer-performer born on July 8, 1978 in Iran. With a passion for Iranian classical dance and ballet, she trained extensively in ballet and also studied Sama (the whirling dance) and Flamenco. Caroline has performed with the Ladies Dance Group in Vahdat Music Hall and developed her own unique fusion dance style called Samamenco, combining elements of Sama and Flamenco. In the summer of 2018, Caroline made her first solo Sama debut, portraying the character of Hannaneh in the Hallaj Opera by renowned Iranian composer and singer, Mr. Parvaz Homay. The performance took place in the beautiful Saadabad Palace and Vahdat hall in Tehran.
