Writer and wannabe explorer. I write so that I can learn something new and then share it with others. Nearly everything about human affairs interest me, but write most often on health, medicine, psychology, and public affairs.

While journalism and blogging is the public face of my writing, I also devote substantial time in writing grant proposals and editing scientific manuscripts. I live in Philadelphia, but have done freelance jobs across the United States and in the UK.
