Background

I am a British trained midwife and health educator specializing in maternal child health. Heaving received my RN license in California, I have continued working in maternal child health care as a visiting nurse to new families. In this setting, I help to facilitate the transition of new parents, providing counseling and education in the skills necessary to care for themselves and their newborn, ensuring optimal health for the entire family. To enhance my expertise in this field, I have obtained certification as an IBCLC lactation consultant.

In addition to my professional qualifications, I am the proud mother of four children who have brought me great joy in life as well as insight into the practical elements of raising children. I feel priviledged to be able to blend my own personal experiences with my professional knowledge to provide support and guidance to new families.

I also work as a parenting instructor for DayOne Baby. In this role, I facilitate groups of new mothers with infants up to the age of three months and from six to nine months as well.
