Hi! My name is Caroline Traci Smith. I come from the big small town of Thomasville Georgia. I say big-small town because Thomasville is actually pretty famous for being a small southern town. I have a large family consisting of three sisters and one brother. My eldest sister has two little girls of her own so we are a full house of girls. If you haven’t noticed my bio picture, it is of my mom and I at a Zombie 5k run. We love The Walking Dead and have a secret obsession with the Zombie Apocalypse. I’m 20 years old and attend Valdosta State University. This is my second year attending college, but my first year at VSU. Last year, I went to Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College for a degree in Agricultural Education. Once I made the transfer to Valdosta State, I of course had to change my major. As of right now, my major is marketing and I hope to go into the advertisement and promotional field. In high school, I was a cheerleader and work part time at a local burger joint. Chandlers Drive Inn was the name of the “historic” restaurant where I learned what really went down behind the counter. I worked there for three years and I appreciated it very much because it helped to get my future jobs in college. Having a job throughout my teenage life has prepared me for the responsibility of a career. My parents taught me that attending college to pursue higher education will help in finding a job I am happy with. I hope that Marketing is the right choice for me and I hope I only change my major once.
