About Me

I’m Caroline White, a Los Angeles and San Diego based photographer specializing in underwater maternity photography, luxury personal branding photography, fine art portraits, couples photography, and editorial-style imagery throughout Southern California and beyond.

For over 20 years, I’ve photographed entrepreneurs, creatives, mothers, couples, coaches, executives, and artists — creating images that feel elegant, emotional, cinematic, and deeply alive. My work blends refined direction with authentic expression, resulting in photographs that feel both elevated and real.

I’m especially known for my underwater maternity photography in Los Angeles, Orange County, La Jolla, Coronado, Newport Beach, Laguna Beach, Malibu, and San Diego. These underwater sessions are dreamy, sensual, empowering, and unlike traditional maternity photography. Whether you’re celebrating pregnancy, motherhood, transformation, femininity, love, or simply a new chapter in life, my goal is to create artwork that feels timeless and unforgettable.

I photograph underwater maternity sessions in beautiful private heated pools throughout Southern California and work with everyone from experienced swimmers to complete beginners. You do not need to know how to swim underwater or even fully submerge your face — I guide the entire process slowly and safely so you can relax into the experience.

In addition to underwater photography, I’m also a sought-after branding photographer in Los Angeles and San Diego, creating sophisticated imagery for coaches, founders, creatives, wellness brands, authors, speakers, and entrepreneurs who want photographs that feel polished without looking stiff or overly corporate. My branding sessions often incorporate natural light, architecture, beaches, rooftops, marinas, luxury homes, and editorial-inspired environments.
