A former college professor, writer of self-help and inspirational works, expert author, and most recently contemporary fiction author, it is easy to see that I love to learn and I love to share what I know.

Born with a deep need to be happy, I have spent most of my life looking for the secret to happiness. It has led me on a journey of discovery that has brought me enormous challenges and even greater joys - one of which was the discovery that I love being a writer. I am never happier than when I am sharing the secrets I have learned about life, success and happiness.

Second only to that is the enjoyment I get breathing life into the characters that inhabit my works of fiction. I love to write up-beat stories of real women and men who overcome life's challenges to live happily ever after.

My life has been blessed with many wonderful people - my family who are my greatest teachers, my friends who forever love and support me, and my dogs who have taught me the real meaning of unconditional love.

My happily-ever-after has me living in a small town by the ocean with my husband of many years continuing to read the books of many wonderful authors, and write the kind of books that I most like to read.
