How to condense 35 years of marketing experience into 2500 words? After 20 years in marketing communications, I joined Whirlpool Corporation as Director, Communications. For the past 10 years, I've enjoyed teaching marketing and brand strategies to students at University of Notre Dame. My day job is helping clients grow and operationalize their brands as President of Brand Amplitude.
The common thread across all these diverse experiences is brands. Brands are how people organize the decisions they make to allocate their time and money. And brands represent the most potent way a company to connect with customers. Brands are simply the last (legal) source of unfair competitive advantage.
