Carol Wayte

As a chef, Carol Wayte has been trained in some of the world’s most esteemed culinary institutions including Le Cordon Bleu in London and the Ritz Escoffier Culinary School in Paris. This doesn’t take into account all of the miscellaneous cooking courses she’s taken either. During her 20+ career as a gourmet chef, Carol has managed to deepen her knowledge food by traveling around the world to experience just how so many dishes are cooked and the cultural context they arise from. It’s this understanding of and connection to the ingredients and emotions behind her food that allows Carol to transport the eater to countries they have never been to before.

When not cooking, Carol Wayte spends her time traveling around the world and creating beautiful handmade scarves. Her travels allow her to explore new cuisines as well as learn more about the creating of cloth garments and new techniques and patterns, allowing each scarf she makes to be unique with a story all its own!
