I am a legal advisor to nonprofits and political subdivision entities in Virginia, USA, when not volunteering for the Democratic Party of Virginia, the Prince George Virginia Democratic Committee or political campaigns.

I wish I were a better writer, had better technological skills and were not aging as fast as I am.

Things I wouldn't want to live without ..husband's companionship, family, wine, a shot of Jack Daniels now and then, coffee, a canine companion (currently Jack the Aussie), twitter, books, broadband and my iPad.

My interests ... nonfiction, political battle, protecting voters' rights, speaking my mind and knowing more about the legal battles being fought by courageous lawyers around the world.
