Carolyn Jenkins

Carolyn Jenkins, is a native of Philadelphia, PA and currently resides in Atlanta, GA. Known as "CJ" in the entertainment industry, she is one of the most sought after Talent Recruiters and Casting Agent on the east coast. She is the owner of Carolyn Jenkins Agency LLC, a full service casting agency specializing in casting commercial media for product branding, Reality TV and Film.

Carolyn works with a number of known Talent, including Jermel Howard, Actor known for his Nike commercial, Netflix’s Orange is the New Black, and Law & Order; and Quincy Bonds, Actor and Comedian known for his Church’s Chicken commercial and Tyler Perry’s House of Paynes. She has managed campaigns for a number of local and national Talents, including Willie Blanks, fitness giant; brother of TaeBo great and continues to manage Master Comedic Hypnotist, Dr. Ramon Smith. Carolyn has cast unique tattooed background Talent for the recent bio-pic, TLC’s Crazy, Sexy, Cool. She is the Lead casting director for Atlanta’s award winning playwright, Monique Shaw Productions. She has recruited Talent for Bare Essentials, Glad Products, BabyTalk TV Network and recently completed a national casting for the first African American spokeswoman for Viagra. Just to add to her 2014 accomplishments, Carolyn cast Talent for a pilot show “Financial Feng Shui,” which is due to air on a major network in 2015.

Carolyn is a freelance Casting Producer for Demand Media Studios and cast Expert Talent for ehow.com, the 11thlargest website on “how-to-videos.” She is also a talent recruiter for Atlas Media, a New York based company that produces documentary and reality TV for the History Channel, the Travel Network and TLC.

Carolyn has a degree in Christian Education and Urban and Economic Development from Beulah Heights University. She also works with Digital Media students at a local Atlanta college. She provides career advice, internship and job placement for graduating filmmakers, music producers, audio engineers, web designers and photographers.

Carolyn is creative and unique with an outstanding eye for talent; and sees the BIG picture for her clients. She works alongside major production companies, advertising agencies as a casting agent/director to scout and cast talents that bring projects to life.
