Greetings, I'm Carolyn. I’m in and enjoy the Accounting arena. My previous roles have been management, however, I am also happy in higher level non-departmental management positions.

Some of my interests are animals, music, card/parlor games, and volunteering. I also enjoy reading, socializing, day trips, and water aerobics.

A few of my best work traits are integrity, work ethic, attention to detail, big picture view, organization, effective written | oral | interpersonal communication, time management, and the ability to work independently as well as with a team. Plus, I am typically personality type ESTJ, which fits very well in Accounting roles.

I bring an outgoing, pro-active personality, knowledge and experience, and accurate, timely results. I am loyal, dedicated, and do not job hop. I am comfortable in a remote, hybrid, or office environment. And, I've been known to break out into song, when it won't disturb anyone, for fun!

Just a few of my achievements are:

*Reduced financial close by 3 days via increasing accuracy cross-checks prior to period end

*Recognized, reconciled, and recouped $200k AR

*Recovered $10k Sales and Payroll Taxes and established measures for prevention of future discrepancies

*Passed 2 State and 3 TWC audits, as well as routine annual audits

I've worked in various industries with public and private companies. Some of these were multi-entity, multi-division, international, parent companies or subsidiaries, while others were single entity. I enjoy the versality all of these require.
