Carolyn Spalding

I'm a writer, an artist, and a curious soul. I have a strong background in marketing, creative, technical, and legal writing, and I'm passionate about accuracy and problem solving. I live for the moment when the right words turn a grey area into a clear-cut idea.

I currently work as a copywriter and email marketer for a custom menswear brand, writing copy for products, emails, advertising pages, and anything else that requires great words. The power of language to influence consumer behavior is endlessly fascinating to me, and I believe research and education play an inescapable role in how we reach clients, customers, and prospective new contacts. I strive to bring creativity and newness to everything I touch.

These days I spend my free time sketching and painting, crocheting, getting lost in book stores, and gardening on my little patio in Brooklyn. My two cats rescued me during the summer of 2020 and enjoy taking turns sitting on my lap when I work from home.

I received a Master's degree in Publishing from University College London, and a Bachelor's degree in English with a Concentration in Writing from Lafayette College.
