Carerra 4 – Coupé – 1989 (modelyear 1990) This is an overall excellent and very original example of this very fine automobile. She has been very pampered all her life and needs nothing (no costs to foresee whatsoever). I bought it from a Spanish Porsche collectioneur and drove her back to Belgium myself (1400 km, 9.5 liter/100 km, not one single hiccup). Before I bought the car I had it checked by Porsche Bilbao and the mechanics were very impressed by the condition and originality of the car (the owner of the dealership even made me an offer to buy the car). She steers, brakes, handles and goes like new and feels very tight indeed. The engine is full of life (original engine and gearbox). The engines on this modelyear tend to “sweat” a little, this one however sweats very little (as testified by Porsche Bilbao and experienced by myself). Oil pressure is excellent. The interior of the car is exceptional: The black leather interior has no marks on it and everything is in excellent working order (as to be expected on these over-engineered cars). The original radio has been replaced by an Alpine CD player. Airco blows cold and has been refilled in May 2011. The car has been very beautifully repainted (due to stone chipping) by the former perfectionist owner. There are however a couple of “spiderwebs” on the bumpers. Wheels are good (slight chipping here and there). The tires (Conti’s sportcontact, 205 front, 225 rear) are 3 years old, evenly worn and have done about 5000 km. This is a classic that can be enjoyed every single day. The car can be homologated for the Belgian market. No BTW/VAT to be paid on car.
