Carrie Hartman

I grew up in this area on a farm. My paternal grandmother went to Severance School and played basketball on a girl's team that competed against other country schools in the area. My mother also grew up in Severance and attended the school. The teachers stayed in a teacheridge, a house for teachers in town, during the week and went to their homes on weekends. Local students enjoyed visiting the teachers in the evenings to play games or to make music!
