Hello Everyone. I am currently living in Kittery, Maine but about to leave for Hong Kong in a matter of weeks. I'm trading one beautiful coastal town for another. Alright, maybe that comparison is a little too trite !Let's add to that trade, skyscrapers, a new language, a new school to teach at and lots and lots more people ! I teach second grade now at Village Elementary in York , Maine and will be teaching first grade at Hong Kong International School in the Tai Tam area. I can't wait to meet the students and staff who represent many countries from all over the world.

When I am not teaching you can find me reading, beach combing, gardening, fixing up my house, hanging with friends, playng drums or bass guitar. I try to squeeze in visits to see my nieces and nephews when I can. I look forward to the beach days, the epic Scattergories matches, the soccer games or even just a skyping session that we have.

Being outdoors on a daily basis is important to me. The beaches and trails nearby are an inspiration. Whether from the trails or from my kayak, watching the lobster boats troll around the coast at Fort Foster is always a welcoming and humbling sight.
