I am 45 years old, happily married for 18 years and a mother of 2 boys ages 16 Corey and 10 Brendan, also a step mother to Nathan who is 24 years old, a Grandmother to his two children Bryce & Ryder. It was a rough road to get to where I am today. I have always been a person who is looking to learn new things and become more successful. I didn't always do the right things in life but certainly I am happy with who I am and who I am especially today. I have recently opened up my own grooming salon on my home property. Being a licensed real estate agent for 9 years reselling timeshare properties from a home office working for A Timeshare Broker, Inc. at which I really do enjoy and do still sell timeshare properties here and there. Due to the economy and sales not as good as they used to be, I headed back to school and graduated from the Florida Institute of Animal Arts on November 4th 2011. Took a whole year, but I took the 900 hour course and I graduated with honors at the top of my class and a special achievment award for scoring highest on my written final 98.8% and 100% on my hands on Professional Pet Styling. I absolutely love & enjoy grooming my job is the best getting to make these furry babies clean and sweet smelling, I only wish I would have thought of this many years ago at a younger age. I am an absolute animal lover and have 4 dogs, a cat, a bearded dragon and a hairless rat. Although I always feel it is never to late to start a new career, I just do not know how long my age and bones will allow me to groom. I figure I probably have at least-another 10 to 15 years then would really like to have built up enough clientel in order to have a few ARFordable Pet Grooming franchises around the US and to have master groomers owning their own franchise and keeping the ARFordable Pet Grooming business going for many many years after I am gone. Hopefully one day my children will take over the business and they can have the franchises bringing in the money for them as well. I think that pretty much sums up me from begining to the present. Now I have been open for 9 months and have approx. 400 repeating clients and their babies comeing to me for grooming. I am amazed at how well the business is doing, absolutley astonished.
