Carrie Straub is a certified Special Education Teacher (Learning and Behavior Disorders, K–12) with experience supporting students with diverse learning, behavioral, and executive functioning needs across elementary, middle, and high school settings.

Her work focuses on IEP implementation, specially designed instruction (SDI), behavior intervention, and data-driven support to ensure students receive appropriate, effective, and legally compliant services. She has experience working with students with learning disabilities, autism, ADHD, and behavioral challenges, providing structured academic and behavioral interventions tailored to individual needs.

Carrie has extensive experience developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), including writing measurable goals, delivering SDI, and monitoring student progress through ongoing data collection. She works to ensure alignment between IEP goals, daily instruction, and service delivery so that students receive consistent and meaningful support.

In addition to academic instruction, Carrie supports students through Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA), using evidence-based strategies to promote skill development, behavior regulation, and increased access to instruction.

Her approach is grounded in structured systems, consistency, and data-driven decision making. She prioritizes clear documentation, collaboration with families and school teams, and implementation fidelity to ensure that supports are effective across settings.
