Benjamin Carrion

I am a Santiago, Chile-based coastal engineer and proud father. My main interest are hydroinformatics; from numerical modelling to big data in the coastal environment. My general approach to solve hydraulic problems always include some sort of coding, and Python is my weapon of choice.

Most of my experience is related with the physical processes of spectral waves, tsunami floods, nearshore hydrodynamics and morphology, vessel motion analysis. Additionally I'm very comfortable performing probabilistic computations in both design and risk management.
