Carson Orfield is an American singer-songwriter, musician, and YouTuber.
Early Life:
Carson Orfield was born on January 28, 2012, and is from Kingsport, Tennessee. Orfield currently lives in Bloomingdale, Tennessee, with his grandparents.
Orfield showed interest in music at an early age and began playing the piano at around age 6. He began writing his own music at age 11.
Career:
Orfield officially released his first EP Cheerio in 2022 on CD. He then followed it with Self Titled Demos and the single Schlager. The official Carson Orfield YouTube channel was created on January 22, 2026. Orfield’s first album, Existence, was released on January 3 2026 officially on the music platform Songtree and later BandLab. Orfield released his second album, Birthday Album, on January 28 2026. Orfield’s third and latest studio album Static was released May 30 2026. Orfield’s most successful release is the single 100 Pennies, released February 21 2026. Orfield also released a compilation EP.
Facts:
The original Carson Orfield YouTube channel was created in November 2025 and had early demos and a music video uploaded to it. These videos and the channel have been lost.
Carson Orfield lost the original album cover for Existence and had to retake it. The original was eventually found.
Carson Orfield has an older brother named Matthew.
Carson Orfield is Pentecostal and has been photographed numerous times in churches. He featured The River of Tri Cities church in the album art for 100 Pennies.
One of Carson’s earliest influences was Billy Joel. Orfield has said he is a Billy Joel fan.
Carson has kept his personal relationships relatively private.
Carson has kept his sexuality private, but says he supports LGBTQ+ people, stating “Respect other’s choices as you’d want them to.”

Rise to fame:
After the creation of his YouTube channel, Orfield began posting shorts in January. Originally intended for promoting his content, it slowly shifted to standard updates and virality chasing content. Through shorts, Orfield grew the popularity of tracks like Absurd Fascination and most notably 100 Pennies.
Popularity:
Orfield is considered a celebrity by the Kingsport community. While his YouTube channel contains less than 300 subscribers, it’s important to note that the channel was not originally created for growth, it was created so Orfields content could be viewed. Orfield has abandoned his Songtree and BandLab profiles, opting for YouTube as his #1 social platform. Orfield does have a Facebook page and Instagram account, however Orfield privated the account due to connections with family members who wished to stay out of the public eye. Orfield has officially performed live twice and several times at Overflow Youth in Johnson City.
