Carter Boehm is the founder and president of Ponderosa Films, a film production company in the Washington, D.C. suburb of Vienna, Virginia. He established this business in 2015, naming it after the former production house of his filmmaker father. Under Carter Boehm’s leadership as an administrator and executive producer, Ponderosa created the film Broken Ghost in 2017. This thriller follows a family who tries to escape from their problems by moving to Montana, only to find that their new house is occupied by a strange presence.

Mr. Boehm was also the executive producer of the historical action film Robert the Bruce. Released in 2019, Robert the Bruce featured a cast that included stars such as Jared Harris and Angus Macfadyen.

Beyond his work in the entertainment industry, Carter Boehm is a successful real estate developer who has served as principal of HC Land Development company since 1994. Based in Vienna, HC owns several hundred properties in the greater Washington, D.C. area.
