Carter Brown

Carter Brown – originally called Carter Brown Associates – was set up in 2001 by Children’s Guardians Christine Carter and Christine Brown, after they saw a demand for a high-quality service that offered specialist expert witnesses for family law cases. We’re currently based in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire where we employ a team of fifteen with Christine Carter being the Managing Director.

Always innovating and expanding, we’ve now become The Expert Service, and have expanded our expert witness service in to all areas of law that might require psychologists, psychiatrists, paediatricians or independent social workers.

We’ve also expanded what we do: as well as expert witnesses, we now offer assessments, therapy, training and consultancy for local authorities, families, individuals and other organisations. We’re the people to talk to if you need an assessment carried out by the best qualified psychologist, psychiatrist, paediatrician, therapist or independent social worker, wherever you are in the UK.

We promote access to experienced professionals at the top of their field: giving adults, young people and children the opportunities they need to improve their wellbeing.
