Carter Cassion is a multitalented entrepreneur, institutional strategist, and solutions architect with a transnational focus on issues affecting the next generation of global citizens. As an experienced professional, Carter has consulted for international non-profit, humanitarian aid organizations, corporations, and political action committees. He has also worked for multinationals such as TELUS Corporations, Project HOPE, Direct Energy, and Audatex.
Carter is an active world citizen. His involvement in his community has been very significant in Canada, USA and Haiti.
For the last 3 years, Carter has worked with many non-profit organizations in Toronto such as CARABRAM, Pierspective Entraide Humanitaire, GPHT, Unleashed Legacy, and Maison D’Haiti.
He currently serves on multiple Boards. He is the President of the Board of Directors of Communauté Positive – Ontario, a division of La Fondation de la Communauté Positive Internationale.
He is the President of the Board of Directors of Francophonie en Fête, a not for profit organization that celebrates the diversity of Francophone and Francophile community in the Greater Toronto through the presentation of an annual music festival. He is also an active member of the Board of Directors of Les Centres d’Accueil Héritage, a leading corporation which has been providing long-term care and low-rent housing services for French-speaking adults in Ontario for the past 35 years.
Carter’s vision is to motivate his surrounding by making small action that will impact people’s life in a positive way. To help the youth as well as contribute to job creation in Haiti, he created AIC professional School in 2005 which provides a platform for young people to learn a profession in order to become self-sustainable.
Carter is a dedicated volunteer. In 2009, He volunteered for the Continuing Promise, a joint humanitarian program between the United States Naval service, the Canadian Armed Forces and 40 Non-governmental organizations worldwide. He has also volunteered for Operation Smile, United Church of Christ, Raising Haiti, etc. For his hard work and dedication, He has received the distinction of “Person of the Day”.
Most recently, Carter has founded OLC Plus Venture Group.Inc, a company with two lines of Business in Technology Solutions and healthcare. He is also the President and CEO of the company.
