"Why spread bad news, when you can spread good news? "

Born and raised in the inner city of St. Louis, Cartiay R. McCoy grew up with a passion to uplift, enlighten and inspire others through media. A journalist at heart, Cartiay has had a lasting interest in spreading good news and communicating. During her first semester in college, she married her youth-group sweetheart and after three years graduated from Webster University with a Bachelor of Arts in Media Communications and a minor in Religious Studies. Her combined experience includes 10 years in youth ministry, four years in sales, two years in publishing, and one year in broadcast radio. Cartiay was the Director of Communications for a St. Louis based church until relocating with her husband to Houston, Texas. She now serves as Communications Director with Pink Ribbons Project, a breast cancer organization dedicated to promoting breast health through the arts. Gospel PR is Cartiay's brainchild, where she spreads good news by publicizing entertainment professionals, authors, and businesses. Overall, her desire is to love people, make Jesus famous, and spread good news.
