Genise Caruso

Born and raised in the United States, I grew up in Chicago, IL, and now live in Madison, WI, with my husband and the youngest of three sons.

Prior to moving to Wisconsin, I assumed a 10 year history in the area of direct response marketing, managing all aspects of production for direct mail projects. Furthermore, this was the start of my role in professional writing, as I often wrote product and promotional copy, in addition to composing articles for newsletters.

After moving to Madison, and taking time away from a career to raise my kids, I found it almost impossible to return to work I loved. With one too many unfulfilling jobs, I made a life altering decision, and went back to school, online, in 2005.

Five years and $150K later, I graduated magna cum laude, with a degree in professional and technical writing. Shortly after this, I earned the title of Certified Professional Resume Writer, (CPRW) and established a home-based business called "Golden Resume Creations," where I produce resumes, cover letters, bios, LinkedIn profiles, etc., on a freelance basis.

However, I still write articles and other materials, which are published on numerous websites, worldwide.

As a person who believes providing the highest quality service to each and every client is the key to a successful business, I've had the pleasure of working with individuals all over the world.

My greatest strengths are common sense, resourcefulness, the ability to avoid problems by thinking ahead, integrity and an honest work ethic.
