Robert D Carver

Director-playwright-lyricist-dramaturg-acting teacher. Formerly an actor, producer and designer. Performed in two regional theatre premieres: Millar's "Abelard & Heloise" (Bernard of Clairvaux) Midwest; Ayckbourn's "Relatively Speaking" (Greg) Southeast. Born in Cincinnati, OH; grew up in Northern Kentucky, lived/worked in Atlanta, Memphis, Corinth & Yazoo City, MS. Moved to NYC the end of 1978. Performed, directed & designed in Summer Stock in NH, formerly artistic director/executive producer of Chameleon Theatre Co., Ltd. (22 years) a 501(c)3 non-profit. Adapted or wrote original libretti (& lyrics) for more than 25 musicals .
