Cary Acord

Over the span of nearly four decades, Cary Acord has been actively involved in outdoor sports. His expertise ranges from snowboarding to standup paddling, a sport he excels in competitively. He also takes interest in kiteboarding and mountain biking. In regard to the latter, Cary Acord supports the International Mountain Bicycling Association and has ridden trails around the world. The activity keeps his interest because it caters to all age groups and offers an abundance of opportunities to establish new friendships and explore the outdoors. His excursions have taken him as far as France to ride throughout the Chamonix terrain.

His interest in kiteboarding stems from its integration of wake boarding, paragliding, and windsurfing. A former windsurfer of 16 years, Mr. Acord leverages his expertise to perform jumps and other moves that boost his adrenaline. Because the equipment is light and the sport requires less wind than windsurfing, Cary Acord often keeps with him the necessities to enjoy a ride after work.
