Caryl Dierksen

Hi. I’m Caryl Dierksen.

Since October 2010, I have been the very happy owner of an Epcon home. My Abbey is located in Maples at the Sonatas, a Wilcox Communities development in Woodstock, Ill.

I retired from my career as a high school English teacher 13 years ago. Then six years later, I retired from my retirement job as a feature writer for our local newspaper.

In one momentous, dream-fulfilling summer, I published my first novel and bought my dream home, aka my Abbey.

I’m in my third year of blogging, still enjoying the learning process, and still eager to share my experiences in my home and community.

I’m 67, live alone except for my cats Angie and Shadow, and love anything to do with reading and writing. So that’s who I am.

If you’re interested in the personal point of view of a Wilcox/ Epcon owner, please stay right here. Ring my doorbell and come in.

I’m glad you stopped by.

If you’d like to contact me with questions or suggestions, or just send me a note, email me at [email protected].
