Casaba Meloune

Casaba Meloune hails from Sacramento, California. Prior to her love and commitment to Classical Burlesque, Fan Dancing, and the Art of Tease, she performed classical theatre. She holds a BFA in Dance Ethnology from Loyola Marymount University and has attended the British American Drama Academy (BADA) in conjunction with Oxford University, Yale, and UCLA. She has given up her love affairs with Shakespeare and Moliere for pasties and merkins, fan dancing to her hearts content! She teaches women (and men) how to reconnect with their own bodies focusing on contraction, expansion, stillness, play, and energy flow and how to use these skills to heal the self and the planet of the body coscious epidemic every shimmy and quake at a time.

Most days when Casaba isn't Twisting and Twirling, you can catch pursuing her cooking artisty, making jewelry, and nurturing her home, husband, and children.
