Cascilla Christopher

My name is Cascilla. I am 17 years old and I have a passion for Jesus and ice cream. I am the spiritual coordinator at my school and take an active part in my school's Student Representative Council, Saints in Action, and Green Club programs. I love music of all kinds and I use my music to spread the message of Jesus to children, teens and adults of all ages. I am the co-leader of a musical adoration band the coordinator of the entire event. This event brings people together from all over the city to spend time with Jesus. I also teach guitar lessons because the gift of music is meant to be shared. School is very important to me and I always work hard to achieve the best marks I can. I plan to become a dentist and have been accepted to the University of Saskatchewan to begin studies in September 2017. I do a lot of volunteer work at my parish and spend a substantial amount of time with cognitively disabled teens in my area. After working at a local tutoring office for a few months, I began my own small tutoring business. I enjoy enhancing my artistic skills by taking art lessons at a nunnery close to my school. I have also become very involved in a youth retreat that takes place every fall in our diocese. I serve as both an administrator and musical coordinator of the retreat. I enjoy playing volleyball and badminton and also love taking part in track events and in winter sports. In my spare time I love to bake treats for my family or take part in outdoor activities. I have recently started learning more about gardening and am looking forward to planting my own garden in the summer.
