I am adept with work schedule and leave administration to include advisement to managers when leave abuse is suspect. I am included with performance management, performance review and initiation administration and am consulted by both management and employees.

I am responsible for the leave share administration as well as FMLA, Military Leave or other related leave matters. I have drafted, corrected, updated and created multiple HR Policies, bulletins, newsletters and procedures throughout my assignments under several different Human Resources areas. I am skilled at researching, collaborating, communicating and deliberating resolution of new or controversial personnel topics. I handle issues at the lowest possible level and only escalate issues that need to be escalated.

I am consulted by colleagues and management when issues such as Veterans Preference adjudication, Special Hiring Authorities or advanced questions regarding legal authorities for personnel actions arise. I am an expert at researching the Guide for Processing Personnel Actions, 5 CFR's, Public Laws, United States Code, Executive Orders or Agency policy such as our internal Merit Promotion Plan or OPM's Delegated Examining procedures.
