Casey Lewis
Pastor, Father, and Photographer in Red Oak, TX
Hi, my name is Dr. Casey Lewis. I am a Pastor, photographer, husband, father, and writer. I am also a leader with 15+ years of ministerial experience (10+ years as a Senior Pastor and 5+ years in other roles).
I am passionate about the gospel of Jesus, preaching, teaching, discipling, and engaging the community. My desire is to be a disciple who makes disciples that impacts the community and world for Christ.
I strive to be a shepherd leader and to create a church culture where an every-member word ministry exists (Eph. 4:12-16), as well as one that is Christ-centered/Gospel-centered in its approach to teaching and ministry. I value expository preaching, and I desire to see the church gather in authentic community, under the preached Word, and then scatter “on mission” to proclaim the gospel to their neighbors and the nations. I desire to see leaders raised up to serve their home church, plant churches, and heed the call to international missions. To that end, I seek to lead churches to be in community and “on mission” for Jesus making “disciple-making” disciples of all peoples.
I am also a writer, who desires to challenge, edify, teach, and create conversations. I am a contributor to the church at large through For the Church a gospel-Centered resource from Midwestern Seminary and The Young Pastor's Network of the SBTC. I also blog regularly at ChristianityMatters.com, where my goal is to provide a gospel-centered perspective on all things Christian.
I'm also a creative that loves graphic design and photography. My love for photography has grown out of a desire to capture everyday moments of beauty, fun, laughter, excitement, and joy not only in my life but in others as well. To that end, I began a photography company. Check out my portfolio at caseylewisphotography.com
