An amateur mountaineer and photographer, Casey grew up in the lake district of Upstate New York, where there was never a lack of ravines and woods to scramble through. His love of the outdoors soon led him beyond the stomping grounds of his hometown to the wilds of the Adirondacks.

The last two years Mr. Marsh has spent his summers exploring and photographing the wild north country of New York. Recently, Casey returned from a trip across the western US, composing his first anthology of photos from his travels in New York and beyond.
