Casey Riley

As the Director of Technology, I currently manage the operations of the Technology Department at a charter school in Escondido. My day to day task include the management of the school’s technology budget making purchases as needed based on what was budgeted, while also making purchases to meet the growing needs of the organization. I have a strong background in customer service from working in the hospitality field in high end hotels and I have made that a theme in my department at the school when supporting our customers, the staff, students, and families.

Throughout my career I have been working hard to develop my technology skills by participating in continuing education at Palomar College while also improving my leadership skills by talking with experienced mentors from other organizations. Every job I have held I have improved in my career either financially or by taking on more responsibilities and gaining knowledge, because I don’t want to get to the point where I feel that I’m not improving. At the same time I want to make sure the members of my team are improving since it not only benefits them but also the company we work for. I have held multiple leadership positions in other companies managing teams from 4-20 in both the Audio Visual and Information Technology fields.
