Casey Vealey

Casey Vealey works as Editor-in-Chief at the Daily Athenaeum, West Virginia University's student-run newspaper.

She is an English major at West Virginia University concentrating in Professional Writing and Editing with a minor in Geography: Globalization. Casey is involved in Calliope, West Virginia University's literary magazine.

Responsibilities at The Daily Athenaeum include reviewing the entire content of the newspaper for grammatical accuracy and correct information. She oversees staff editorials as well as the rest of the newspaper's content, and is the chief professional correspondent for The Daily Athenaeum.

Her career goals are to work at an online publication, law firm, or to publish her own work. She will graduate from WVU in 2016.
