I want to teach high school English and coach basketball. In my spare time, I write short story fiction and hope to publish my own book one day. Currently, I'm the head basketball coach at the Sherwood Regional Family YMCA, and a student at Portland State University. I plan on entering the graduate teaching program in the summer of 2016.

I graduated from Penn State Hazleton in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts in Letters, Arts, and Sciences. This liberal arts degree allowed me to focus my course of study in English, Psychology, and Sociology. I also graduated with minors in Professional Writing, Psychology, and Sociology.

At Penn State Hazleton, I played four years on the men's Division 3 basketball team, started a Christian fellowship club, held positions as President of the Student Government Association and Managing Editor of the campus newspaper, The PSU Collegian, and participated in the Student-Athlete Advisory Board and the largest student-run philanthropy, THON.
