Casey Zander

I currently live in the Dallas area and work as an adjunct instructor teaching developmental writing at Eastfield College in Mesquite. I hold a Bachelor of Art in English from Texas A&M University, and I am currently in pursuit of a Master of Art in English and Creative Writing from Southern New Hampshire Universtiy. I hope to eventually secure a full time position at a college or university teaching English in ways that students fully understand what was perhaps missed before.

For my master's degree, I am currently writing the first draft of a novel. I'm both excited and nervous about this since I have never actually undertaken the momentous task of writing a complete draft of a novel. I feel very strongly about the topic and hope it is one day picked up for publication.

In the litte spare time I have, I enjoy reading for fun, experimenting in the kitchen, and dabbling in all areas of the arts. I enjoy painting, drawing, photography, creating multimedia works of art, as well as creating jewelry through both metalworking and beading. I enjoy traveling with my family and having the chance for new experiences and making memories.
