Education is…

I believe that the role that education plays in a person's life is nothing less than a crucial portion that is necessary to learn and understand the basics of some of the many things this world has to offer. However, with that being said there are ways that we could improve and advance our knowledge of the things in the real world. Things that are important and need to be taught such as how to do your taxes, personal hygiene, real people skills, etc. There are some things I have been taught that are required by the state that I will likely never use where I could have instead of learning about topics that are actually useful whenever I am on my own in the real world. I would say that personally education has prepared me for life after high school in the aspect that I can read, do basic math, have knowledge about historic events, and have understanding about science which are all useful to some degree. Some of the elective type classes or particular topics in core classes have however prepared me a little better in the sense that they taught me things such as communication skills, importance of social media, how to carry myself at either a job interview or at a job itself, etc.

Learning Goals

I would like to further advance my people skills as a whole because they are beneficial in multiple aspects in the workplace.

I would like to have more wisdom because with that comes characteristics of a leader which can be used in a good work ethic.
