I have a gift for communication strategy that comes from a depth of real world experience. My commitment to interrupting the cycle of oppression, in all forms, has drawn me to organizing and advocacy. I served as Communications Director for the Women's March on Washington in 2017 and the March2Justice in 2015. I've also worked with Amnesty International USA, LifeCamp Inc, university faculty, visual artists & musicians, and start-ups for social good.

When I was 18, I left home for New Orleans with about $300 in my wallet. When I turned 28, I graduated with honors from Cornell University. I’ve lived in five cities, founded two leadership groups, learned how to throw a pizza dough, started my own business, taught myself Spanish, and that's just the start.

Given enough time on the planet, I aspire to be a institution-builder, because it's high time for some new ones.
