Currently, I am an Assistant Teacher at Eyes on the Future in Rogers Park (Chicago). I have spent the past year updating my ECE credentials and professional development. Additionally, I am also coming full circle on my first full school year with my first group of kindergarten ready children! Hooray!

Prior to Eyes on the Future, I spent 6 moths as a floating substitute preschool teacher, but my work experience over the past 8-10 years has included working with young adults and adolescents. This experience has allowed me to understand the role of non-profit work, become familiar with the Uptown neighborhood of Chicago, engaging several Chicago communities -- especially via Chicago Public Schools (CPS). My current job as a pre-school teacher has only further stressed the importance of early childhood education and its life-long goals to steer children in the direction of better lives, families, and communities. The little ones are driving the world in a few short years. Get ready!
