Cassandra fell in love with the nonprofit world during her senior year in college, when she volunteered for Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Washington. In 2006, she was offered a full-time position as the Events Coordinator and spent the next three years developing her role in event planning and fundraising.
In 2009, she was offered the position of Events Manager for Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Memphis and, in 2011, she accepted the position as Assistant Director of Events at the University of Chicago.
Currently, Cassandra is the Director of Development for Boys & Girls Clubs of Tampa Bay, where she oversees Marketing & PR efforts, Crisis Communications, Board Development, Strategic & Corporate Partnerships, and Fundraising Events.

Cassandra earned her B.A. in Communications and Graphic Design at Howard University. She resides in South Tampa with her 3-year-old Pitbull, Cali.
